About Road Preservation Spraying

What to Expect When We Spray Reclamite

WHAT WE DO

  • Reclamite is applied to roads that are in good condition or new.

  • Reclamite is a pink color product that is applied by spraying.

  • A fine, aggregate is applied to the surface within 20-30 minutes of spraying.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • The freshly treated road looks wet.

  • Up to 20% of the aggregate will become part of the pavement surface.

  • You can drive on the road after aggregate placement.

  • Aggregate makes the road safe to drive on while the product cures.

NOTES

  • Keep pets off the wet surface to prevent tracking.

  • We use a fine, aggregate that won’t damage property or vehicles.

  • Any light residue that tracks onto your driveway will disappear within 1-2 weeks. It will not permanently stain concrete.

  • Drive slowly through treated area.

  • Once the aggregate is placed, the road will be open.

  • The product is not harmful to pets, but it is best to keep your pets off the road surface for about 24 hours.

  • While some people can detect a slight odor from our CRF and Reclamite products, the smell is not toxic, harmful, allergenic or likely to irritate your respiratory system in any way.

  • Our products are designed to penetrate the road surface and replenish oils that have been oxidized during manufacturing, road overlay or by weathering. As a result, the road returns to a light gray color within 4 months of the application.
